'Streams of Light' exhibit at the Gallery at 409
POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. -- The Gallery at 409 presents "Streams of Light" exhibition by Sue Grim-Langert, artist, teacher, coach and established painter whose work has been hosted by galleries in Texas, Ohio, West Virginia and California.
Grim-Langert is mostly known for her paintings of land and seascapes, vineyards, flower fields and floral still life which are presented in classical impressionism and a very expressive style as well as abstract using oil and acrylic mediums.
An opening reception will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 at the Gallery, located at 490 Main St., Point Pleasant. The exhibition will be up through Sept. 30.
The Gallery at 409 is dedicated to bringing fine art to thre community while facilitating creativity in youth and adults. The youth outreach program involves schools in five surrounding counties with in-school teaching as well as art classes in the gallery.
