SNOWSHOE, West Virginia – Snowshoe Mountain Resort will host a free day of skiing for all West Virginia residents this Saturday. All West Virginia residents with proof of residence (state issued ID, utility bill, etc.) can ski for free on Saturday, Dec. 8.

While Snowshoe Mountain and White Grass are already open, the rest of the resorts — Timberline, Canaan Valley, Winterplace and Oglebay — are right on their heels looking to open at a normal time this year.
