Help children by entering The Herald-Dispatch's Beautiful Baby Contest

Feb. 08, 2014 @ 12:00 AM

If you have a beautiful baby and a desire to help children, then you want to enter The Herald-Dispatch's Beautiful Baby Contest.

Registration ends Feb. 11 and voting begins Feb. 12.

HOW IT WORKS:

n To submit your beautiful baby or to participate in the online voting, go online at www.herald-dispatch.com and click on the Beautiful Baby link.

Parents enter photos of their babies. (All babies must be younger than 24 months as of Jan. 1, 2014.)

Members of the public can view the entries and register to purchase votes for the baby they think is most beautiful. Votes are 4 for $1, 25 for $5 and 60 for $10.

Participants may vote as often as they like

Voting totals will be displayed until the last 48 hours of the voting period. This allows for all votes to be audited according the Beautiful Baby contest rules.

By entering or voting, participants agree to the contest rules.

The top three vote-getting babies will win prizes: $500 U.S. savings bond for first place, a $250 U.S. savings bond for second place and a $150 U.S. savings bond for third place.

The contest benefits the Newspaper in Education program at The Herald-Dispatch. The program provides newspapers to students in area schools.
