Arts and science camps

HUNTINGTON -- The Rahall Transportation Institute and the June Harless Center for Rural Educational Research and Development will offer summer camps for students focused on S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) activities. Class sizes for each are limited and pre-registration is required.

Camps include:

Arts and Bots: Exploring Robotics and the Arts, 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Thursday, June 17-20, Marshall's Jenkins Hall B7. Cost is $150 per child. For children entering third through eighth grades.

Experimenting with Science, 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Thursday, July 8-11, Marshall's Jenkins Hall B7. Cost is $100 per child. For children entering third, fourth and fifth grades.

Bee-Bot into Beginning Robotics, 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Thursday, July 22-25, Marshall's STEM Center, Corbly Hall 118. Cost is $80 per child. For children entering first and second grades.

Young Builders, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday-Friday, July 29 to Aug. 2, Marshall's Morrow Library, Room 100. Cost is $69 per child. For children 5 years old through third grade.

Technology Art, 10 a.m. to noon Monday-Friday, July 22-26, Marshall's Morrow Library, Room 100. Cost is $89 per child. For children in third through eighth grades.

Technology Building, 1 to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 29 to Aug. 2, Marshall's Morrow Library, Room 100. Cost is $89 per child. For children in third through eighth grades.

Robotics, Lego Education Green City Challenge, 1 to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, July 22-26, Marshall's Morrow Library, Room 100. Cost is $99 per child. For children in fourth grade and older.
