Organizers planning Old Central City Fall Festival for Oct. 11-12
HUNTINGTON – The Old Central City Association is preparing for an Old Central City Fall Festival that will run Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11-12 in the historic antiques district along 14th Street West in Huntington’s West End.
There will be entertainment throughout the two days at the gazebo as well as sidewalk sales and an antiques appraisal as well, said organizers.
Both days, antiques stores along 14th Street West will be open until 8 p.m. with sidewalk sales and additional vendors.
Some of the entertainment includes: Gospel music from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the gazebo; a DJ at the gazebo from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Antiques appraisals from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at the gazebo.
Across from the gazebo, the new pub, Bobby G’s, opened in August by Bob Glendenning and his wife Jenni Saptya, will feature live music in their courtyard from5 to 8 p.m. Friday with Joey Noyes and Jay C.
On Saturday, Emily Kinner and Joey Notes will be playing from 1 to 4 p.m. at the courtyard and then from 5 to 8 p.m. on the gazebo.
Bobby G’s, located at 601 14th Street West, will be also featuring free German food starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, until it runs out.
