Graves to be installed as rector of St. John's Episcopal Church today
HUNTINGTON -- The Rev. Lisa Graves will be installed as the rector of St. John's Episcopal Church at 7 p.m. today at the church, 3000 Washington Blvd. in Huntington.
The Right Rev. W. Michie Klusmeyer will preside over the Service of Installation. Area clergy, members of the congregation and musicians will participate in this traditional service.
The service is open to the public. A reception will follow.
Graves received her master's degree in divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Va., and her bachelor's degree in communications from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She has experience in parish ministry, hospital and hospice chaplaincy ministry in Arlington and Roanoke, Va., areas as well as Palatine, Ill., a suburb of Chicago.
Graves is married to the Rev. Chip Graves of Trinity Episcopal Church and they have two daughters.
