Friends of PATH meeting set for Saturday, Jan. 19
HUNTINGTON -- Those interested in supporting the Paul Ambrose Trail for Health are encouraged to attend a meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, to discuss a new group called Friends of PATH.
The meeting will take place at the Cabell Huntington Convention and Visitors Bureau at Heritage Station in downtown Huntington.
The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss ideas on how citizens can be more involved in the developments and maintenance of the trail. City of Huntington and Rahall Transportation Institute (RTI) representatives have joined the group.
The meeting will be informal discussion and will focus on determining the goals and mission of the new group, as well as, ideas for the group's first project.
