Part of 5th Avenue traffic to be altered this week
HUNTINGTON -- Three traffic lanes on 5th Avenue between 25th and 26th streets will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, to 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, to allow for the installation of sewer and drain lines for Marshall University's new soccer complex.
The same 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. schedule will continue throughout the week, or until completion of the project, which is expected to take about five days. The work will be done at night to allow for all 5th Avenue traffic lanes to reopen at 6 a.m. each day.
