HUNTINGTON -- The River Magic Chorus is offering its annual Singing Valentines on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 13 and 14.

"A Singing Valentine is the perfect way to say Happy Valentine's Day to almost anyone," chorus member Sharon Nicholas said in a release. "Traditional flowers or a box of candy is nice but a Singing Valentine is extra special, and people love them."

In-person performances are available throughout the Tri-State. For $40, the recipient will receive two songs sung by a chorus quartet, a rose, and a small gift.

Telephone valentines are also available, sung live by a quartet, for $15. Anyone living anywhere in the U.S. can receive a telephone valentine.

Performing quartets are Heartfelt, with Katherine Agee, Sharon Nicholas, Peggy Napier, and Stephanie Gray; Magicality, with Patty Martin, Emily Teeuwissen, Norma Wilson, and Linda Hall/MC Duke; and Razzle Dazzle!, with Donna Patrick, Mary Madsen, Janet Jarrell, and Linda Hall.

Call 304-522-6506 or 606-836-4178 to order.

River Magic Chorus is part of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of women worldwide who share a love for music and for singing barbershop harmony. Any woman who loves to sing is invited to attend rehearsals at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Renaissance Center, 900 8th Street, Huntington. Musical knowledge is not necessary.
