KDMC's volunteer program seeks teens
ASHLAND -- King's Daughters is accepting applications for the medical center's 2014 Summer Teen Volunteer Program.
The potential teen volunteer must be 14 years or older on or before June 1.
The completed application, including parent/guardian signature, must be completed and submitted to the Volunteer Office no later than Friday, April 11.
New teen volunteers must successfully complete a mandatory orientation. Prospective teen volunteers may inquire about this year's orientation program schedule upon submitting their applications.
Teens are required to work at least one four-hour shift each week. Those accepted into the program must commit to their assigned schedule and miss no more than one week of service. Notice for vacations or other activities must be given in advance.
Applications are available online at kdmc.com. Upon receipt of the completed application, additional paperwork will be mailed to the teen's parent or guardian.
