Miniature exhibit winners announced
HUNTINGTON -- The winners have been announced in the Arts Resources for the Tri-State's 12th Annual National Miniature Exhibition.
"The overall range, individual talent and quality of these works are quite impressive," said Thomas E. Suter, juror. "The extreme technical execution and extraordinary detail amazes me."

"Extraordinary, meticulous and absurd detail with an overall stunning composition," Sutter said of the Award of Excellence winner. "This painting is magnificent! A beautiful representation of light and reflection. The overall piece shows extreme mastery of technical execution. It begs us to remember the Masters!"
The 12th Annual National Miniature Exhibition will be on display at the Renaissance Art Gallery through Dec. 9.
The gallery is located at 900 8th St., Suite 20, Huntington. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Studio hours are 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, 1 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
