CCCSO to give seniors farmer's market vouchers
HUNTINGTON -- Cabell County seniors who meet required income guidelines can get Farmer's Market vouchers for the 2014 season from the Cabell County Community Services Organization at one of several upcoming dates and locations.
Here's a look at the schedule:
9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, July 8 at Marie Reed Senior Center, 1750 9th Ave.
9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, July 9 at Salt Rock Senior Center, 5490 WV 10.
9 a.m. to noon, Friday, July 11 at Underwood Senior Center, 632 9th Ave.
9 a.m. to noon, Monday, July 14 at the Barboursville Library, 728 Main St.
9 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, July 15 at the Milton Senior Center, 1032 Church St.
9 a.m. to noon, Friday, July 18 at the Greenbottom Community Center, 7863 Ohio River Road
Eligible seniors should be at least 60 years of age or older and bring proof of Cabell County residence such as an ID or utility bill.
The vouchers are $30 each and are limit one per household. Qualified seniors will receive a list of where the vouchers are accepted when they receive them.
The include guidelines are: $1,800 a month for one person, $2,426 a month for 2 people, $3,051 a month for three people and $3,677 a month for four people.
