Junior League Garden Club raffle winners are announced
HUNTINGTON -- The Junior League Garden Club of Huntington has announced the winners of its recent raffle.
The winners were:
Sterling Hall, the original oil painting by Sue Ellen Hardman
Susan Hage, the handmade basket by Beckie Mohn
Judy Gannon, the handmade K&B pottery vase by Rebecca Adkins
Janel Aldridge, the door prize, a spring wreath made and donated by Spurlock's Flowers.
The proceeds of this tour, as with all of the Junior League Garden Tours, benefit community beautification projects in Huntington.
The Junior League Garden Club would like to thank the following people for making this year's garden tour the best ever," said Julie Haynes, club member. "Gardeners, who tirelessly worked on their gardens for all to enjoy, merchants, who promoted and sold tickets to the event, ticket purchasers, for their interest in plants and gardening to share with family and friends, volunteers, for making everything run smoothly, Chris Miller of Dutch Miller Kia and Jason Moses of Moses Auto Mall of Huntington, for providing vans and wonderful drivers for our shuttle service, Jean McClelland, of The Herald-Dispatch, for truly outstanding publicity and Sue Ellen Hardman, tour chairman, who gave her all to make this tour the success that it was."
