Christian youth camp accepting kids for summer

PENNSBORO, W.Va. -- The West Virginia Christian Youth Camp is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young people with a program of Bible study, spiritual growth and personal enrichment in a Christian environment.

The camp will host students in June and July to spend time in Bible class, worship, devotionals and Bible bowl competitions.

Senior Week, for those 14-18, meets Tuesday, June 30, through Saturday, July 6. Intermediate Week, for 11-14, meets from Sunday through Saturday, July 7-13. Junior Week, for ages 7-11, meets July 14-19. And, an all-age camp for 8 to 18, will meet July 21-27.

The new sports week will take place Sunday through Friday, June 23-28, for children ages 12-18.

A new camp this summer will have a special emphasis on singing and will run July 28 to Aug. 3, for children 12-18.

Camp cost is $100 per week, while the sports camp is $125. The price includes room and board, food, entertainment and activities. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.wvcyc.com.
