BABYSIT: She's more than a babysitter ... Mackenzie Watson is the newly hired nursery attendant at Enslow Park Presbyterian Church. The Huntington High grad and Marshall University sophomore loves babies, toddlers and preschoolers, as well as the other kids.
SHOW: A Wayne County 4-H Horse Fun Show begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Horse Show Arena (W.Va. 152/ Shirley Burgess Park). Registration begins at 1 p.m. Competitors must show a valid (within 12 months) negative Coggins upon registration. Call Jessica Willis, 304-486-5299.
BUZZ: Buzz Spector, Chicago native with a bachelor's degree in art from Southern Illinois University and a master of fine arts degree from the Committee of Art and Design at University of Chicago, is Walter Gropius Master Artist for September at Huntington Museum of Art. He speaks at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, with a reception following. An installation of his work is exhibited through Nov. 3 at HMA. FUNDRAISER: "Get Your Wig On," cancer awareness fundraiser hosted by Keepers of the Lighthouse, American Cancer Society and Pantene Beautiful Lengths, takes place from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Harris Riverfront Park. Keepers of the Lighthouse Beauty Bar provide area stylists to cut and style donors' hair to be used for cancer patients. ART: Kentucky Creative Arts Club conducts its 53rd annual Art in the Park Saturday, Sept. 28, in Ashland's Central Park. In case of rain, the event moves to KYOVA Mall. Registration is from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by judging at noon. Categories include oil/acrylic; watercolor/acrylic; pastel; graphics and mixed media; portraits/all media; and 3D sculpture. BIRTH: Congratulations to Maurice and Jenny Clark of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church. They are grandparents of a new baby girl, Jenny In-bin Chang, born Aug. 9 to Lara and Ho-Tae Chang. May this little beauty bring joy and love to the family.

SUPERMAN: First Stage Theatre Co. presents "A Superman Celebration" at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at Heritage Station.
