Apple Butter Festival set for Sept. 28 in Barboursville
BARBOURSVILLE -- The 6th annual Apple Butter Festival is set for Saturday, Sept. 28 at Barboursville Park.
The event, which is designed to include education and entertainment, will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Admission is free.
The Proctorville Masonic Lodge F & AM will once again be making apple butter the old-fashion way.
There will be live music all afternoon. At 5 p.m. the Saturday Night Jamboree featuring the Pure Country band will take the stage for a two-hour concert. The special guest will be Donna Cunningham, a winner of the North American Country Music Association's Entertainer of the Year Award.
In addition there will be food and craft vendors. There are a few spots still open for anyone interested in selling food or craft items. Local vendors are encouraged to reserve a place to display and sell their goods. To reserve a spot, call 304-972-8575.
