CMHS senior continues outreach with search for winter gear

Oct. 28, 2012 @ 12:00 AM

MILTON -- Cabell Midland High School senior Tiffani Webb helped numerous organizations last school year by selecting one each month to spotlight, while encouraging the public to donate specific items that each needed.

Webb is continuing her outreach this year as well.

She is currently focused on helping the community get warm for the winter.

Hats, gloves, blankets and coats are needed for homeless street ministry and for the Eastern Cabell County Humanity Organization (ECCHO), and are being accepted through December.

She also is collecting socks for soldiers through the end of November.

ECCHO also is need of peanut butter for its pantry, while the Huntington City Mission needs twin sheet sets, twin mattresses, box springs and rails, pots and pans, cribs, crib sheets and crib mattresses.

Items can be dropped off at Milton Baptist Church or Source4 in Perry Morris Square in Milton. For more information on needed items or to schedule a pick up, email Webb at goherdmiltonpanther@yahoo.com.
