The Cabell County Board of Education voted this afternoon to offer Marshall University $1.8 million for the University Heights Apartments property. The vote came hours after a public hearing held in the Alumni Lounge in the Memorial Student Center, where Superintendent William Smith, Prestera Center executive director Bob Hansen and many Prestera clients and supporters spoke.

The Herald-Dispatch “Tri-State’s Most Wanted” list has featured 30 fugitives since June 2006. No capture had been reported in seven cases as of July 28, 2008.

Information about other past and present fugitives can be found below.

The fugitives' profiles and photos are periodically published in the daily newspaper.
