HUNTINGTON — The Cabell-Huntington Health Department offers a free back-to-school immunization clinic from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11. The health department is located at 703 7th Ave.

The event will include inflatables, face-painting, balloon art and a live radio remote by Magic 97.9-FM. There also will be giveaways, refreshments and a visit from Ronald McDonald between 4 and 6 p.m.

All childhood vaccines will be offered. Childhood vaccinations are required in West Virginia for children entering public school (including kindergarten), pre-K and daycare. Parents are advised to bring their child’s shot record so the department can determine if the child is properly immunized.

No appointment is necessary. For more information, call 304-523-6483.
