Highlawn groups to sponsor workshop

HUNTINGTON -- The Highlawn Neighborhood Association and the Highlawn Neighborhood Watch are sponsoring a workshop on creating a drug-free neighborhood at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at St. Mary's Medical Center's Heart Institute, Room 205.

The day of the week was listed incorrectly in a story in Wednesday's edition of The Herald-Dipatch.

Free parking is available, and refreshments and prizes will be provided. The workshops are free and open to anyone in the Huntington area.

This interactive workshop will feature discussions led by the Highlawn Neighborhood Watch and local law enforcement officials, and offer an opportunity for residents to communicate concerns and issues to officials.
