HUNTINGTON — A 7-year-old child was transported to Cabell Huntington Hospital after being struck by a vehicle about 6:53 p.m. Thursday on 16th Street and 9th Avenue.

Camden Park to open

HUNTINGTON -- Camden Park, West Virginia's only amusement park, has been giving folks a joy ride since 1903, and come Saturday the family-run, family-fun park cranks it back up for the season.

The park, located just five miles west of Huntington along U.S. 60, is now open weekends in May.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4, 10-11, 17-18, and Memorial Day weekend May 24-26.

General admission is $20.99; Children (48" & under) $14.99; Seniors (55 & older) $14.99.

Starlight prices start at 5 p.m. Admission when the park closes at 10 p.m. is $10.99. Starlight when the park closes at 7:30 p.m. is $7.99.
