Martinsburg plans air show for September
MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) — Organizers of a two-day air show at the Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport near Martinsburg are hoping their event will become an annual fixture.
Eleven aerial acts are set to perform Sept. 20-21 in the Spirit of American Over Martinsburg.
The United Way is selling advance tickets for $12 until Friday. Tickets cost $15 at the gate.
The event will also feature displays of military and vintage aircraft.
Parachutists will start the show, along with two fighter planes from World War II.
