RIO GRANDE, Ohio — The University of Rio Grande will have a Visitation Day for area high school students and people from around the region Wednesday, April 16.

Visitors will receive admissions information, discuss academics with faculty members, take tours of the Rio Grande campus, receive financial aid information and even eat lunch in the campus dining hall in the newly expanded and renovated Davis University Center.

“This is an excellent opportunity to see campus and get a feel for what Rio is all about,” Tammy McCain, director of admissions at Rio Grande said in a news release.

The April 16, event will be the last one this semester.

“At this point in the year, we see many seniors who are still trying to make their final decisions and possibly making a repeat trip to campus to decide,” McCain said. “We also see many juniors who are really beginning the college search on a serious level.”

Juniors and seniors are both invited to attend the Visitation Day events.

Anyone who would like to attend the April 16, Visitation Day at Rio Grande is asked to register early if possible. If any area residents find that April 16, does not work for them to visit campus, they are invited to call the admissions office and set up another time and day that is more convenient for them to visit.
