Hurricane golf classic to benefit scholarship

HURRICANE — The West Virginia Health Care Foundation’s Long Term Care Classic is scheduled for Monday, June 23, at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club. 

Check-in time is 10 a.m., with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. There will be a free cookout during the round and the beverage cart will be circling the course.

Registration fees are $125 per person before Saturday, May 23, and $150 per person after May 23. Registration deadline is Friday, June 6.  Proceeds go to the Herman Conaway Scholarship Program.

This year’s tournament will feature several prizes, including a 2008 BMW 328i, two tickets to the Coca-Cola Suite at the start/finish line of Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Bank of America 500 in October, a Dell Computer System, Bose Sound System and more.
