SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (AP) _ A new spark plug manufacturing facility in Sissonville is set to open on Monday.
Gov. Joe Manchin, U.S. Sen. Jay Rockefeller, U.S. Rep. Shelley Moore Capito and other dignitaries are scheduled to attend the grand opening ceremony for the NGK Spark Plugs facility.
NGK Spark Plugs USA Inc. announced last year that it planned to build the assembly plant at the Sissonville site where the company already had an oxygen sensor plant and a distribution center.
NGK said the expansion was needed to meet future customer requirements.
It wasn't immediately clear how many workers NGK planned to employ at the new facility.
