HUNTINGTON — A man was robbed late Saturday while at a bar in the 4800 block of Piedmont Road in Westmoreland.
A black man and white woman entered the Highway Inn sometime between 11:30 and 11:45 p.m. Saturday and struck the victim, Jason Jackson, in the face, Police Chief Skip Holbrook said. Both of the suspects brandished guns, he said.
The suspects took $1,200 and a cell phone from Jackson, Holbrook said. They then corralled three other people in the bar into a back room before fleeing.
Jackson was not seriously injured and refused medical treatment at the scene. The Huntington Police Department is still investigating the incident.
