OLBH to teach seniors how to avoid becoming victims of crime

RUSSELL — Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital is hosting Senior Crime College, free to seniors and focused on teaching them how to avoid becoming victims.


OLBH, in conjunction with the Kentucky Attorney General’s Office, the FIVCO Service Agency, the Kentucky State Police and the FIVCO Area Agency on Aging & Independent Living, will host Senior Crime College at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, at OLBH’s Bellefonte Centre (1000 Ashland Drive) on the OLBH campus. The event is free to seniors.


Senior Crime College is a seminar focusing on crimes that affect seniors and how to avoid becoming a victim of such crimes. Sessions will center on crime prevention and information booths will offer free health screenings, provided by OLBH.


The event ends at 3 p.m.


Lunch will be served at noon. Door prizes and giveaways are part of the event.
