YMCA youth leagues

Itty Bitty & Instructional Basketball Leagues:

FOR: Boys and girls 3-6 years old.

DIVISIONS: Itty Bitty, 3-4 year olds, and Instructional, 5 and 6 year olds.

COST: $30 first child (2nd child $25), non-YMCA Member $50 each child.

REGISTRATION: First Season registration closed.

BEGINS: Practice begins Saturday, Nov. 3,. First season play begins Nov. 10.

SECOND SEASON REGISTRATION: Dec. 15-22. Second season play will begin Jan. 5, 2008.

Buddy Basketball League:

FOR: Competitive boys and girls 7-12 years old.

REQUIREMENTS: To try out, you must be 7 years old by Sept. 1, 2007, and not 13 before Sept. 1, 2007.

REGISTRATION: Through Friday, Nov. 2.

TRYOUTS: Sunday, Nov. 4 at 1:30 p.m. at the Huntington High YMCA (917 9th St.); players who are drafted will be placed in divisions according to age and ability. Participants who tryout and do not make the Buddy League will be placed in the D League.

BEGINS: Practice games will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, regular season will begin Saturday, Nov. 17. YMCA.

COST: Member $35 first child (2nd child $25), non-YMCA Member $50 each child. Practice once a week, games played on Saturday's and some Sunday's.

D League:

FOR: Boys and girls 7-10 years old.

COST: YMCA Members $30 first child (2nd child $25), non-YMCA member $50 each child.

REGISTRATION: Through Nov. 20.

BEGINS: Practice begins Nov. 26. Season play begins Dec. 1.

13-14 Year old Basketball League:

FOR: Boys and girls 13 and 14 years old.

COST: YMCA members $35 first child (2nd child $25), non-YMCA Member $50 each child.

REGISTRATION: Through Nov. 20.

BEGINS: Practice begins Nov. 27. Season play begins Dec. 1.

Indoor Soccer League:

For: Ages 4-10.

REGISTRATION: Dec. 1-26.

BEGINS: 2007 season play begins Jan. 6, 2008.

COST: $15 for YMCA members $30 for non-members.

Peewee Wrestling:

FOR: Ages 4-12.

Practice: Monday and Wednesday 6 p.m.

BEGINS: Season begins Monday, Nov. 12, and will conclude Feb. 3. Member of the MountainState Wrestling League.

COST: YMCA members $55; non members $90.
