Holy Family Festival filled with all-American fun
ASHLAND -- The Holy Family All-American Festival kicks off today and lasts through the weekend with games, music, prizes and more at the Holy Family Catholic Church.
The festival begins at 4 p.m. today and activities are scheduled through 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7.
The church is located at 900 Winchester Ave., in Ashland.
Ride wristbands can be purchased for $25 for the weekend or $10 for one day.
Events scheduled include:
Today
4 to 11 p.m., carnival games and rides, live entertainment, basket raffle, craft booth, plant booth, beer booth, grill
4 to 7 p.m., fish fry, $7 for adults, $5 for children
6 to 11 p.m., casino
6 to 9 p.m., pre-registration for 5k race
Saturday, Sept. 6
8 a.m., 5k race
10 a.m. to 1 p.m., health screenings
10 a.m. to 11 p.m., carnival games and rides, live entertainment, basket raffle, craft booth, plant booth, grill
4 to 10 p.m., cruise in
6 to 11 p.m., casino
noon to 11 p.m., beer booth
8 p.m., the Lee Roessler Band
Sunday, Sept. 7
noon to 4 p.m., carnival games and rides, live entertainment, basket raffle, craft booth, plant booth, grill, chicken dinner, $6 for adults, $4 for children
4 p.m., drawing on grand raffle, vacation raffle and all baskets
