The Marshall University Board of Governors has requested that university administration gather more information regarding proposals from Prestera Center and the Cabell County Board of Education, two entities that made formal Friday offers for the University Heights Apartments property.

Mayoral candidate Wolfe to conduct rally Aug. 21

HUNTINGTON — Huntington mayoral candidate Kim Wolfe will conduct a rally from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at Heritage Farm Museum and Village, 3300 Harvey Road.


The event, which is open to the public, is hosted by Wolfe supporters Red Dawson, Dr. Kenneth Wolfe and Hershel “Woody” Williams.


Entertainment will be provided by the 1937 Flood.


Wolfe, a Republican and Cabell County Sheriff, will face Democratic incumbent David Felinton and independent candidates Tom McCallister and Robin Howell in the Nov. 4 general election.
