Ghost conference planned in W.Va.
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (AP) — Things that go bump in the night and a whole lot more will be discussed in Parkersburg this weekend.
The Haunted West Virginia Ghost and Paranormal Conference is set for Friday and Saturday.
Tom Moore is co-founder of the Mid-Ohio Valley Ghost Hunters, which is sponsoring the event. He says the group wants to make it known that ghosts are real.
The conference is being held at the Sumnerite Museum, which was used as a Civil War hospital, and will include lectures by local paranormal experts.
Conference attendees will have a chance to win tickets to an all-night private ghost hunt at the former Weston Hospital.
