STEVE BIAS, 40, of West Hamlin, husband of Amber Bias, died Saturday at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin. Burial will follow at Shelton Cemetery, West Hamlin. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward funeral expenses.
GENE BRANHAM, 85, of Catlettsburg, husband of Juanita Lyons Branham, died Saturday at King’s Daughters Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Neal Funeral Home, Catlettsburg. Burial will follow at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens, Ashland. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
ROY LEE BRANHAM, 74, of Hueysville, widower of Grace Newsome Branham, died Saturday at Parkway Nursing Home, Pikeville. He owned and operated Branham Car Lot. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wheelwright Freewill Baptist Church, Wheelright. Burial will follow at Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel. Hall Funeral Home, Martin, is in charge of arrangements.
CLAUDE J. BRUMFIELD, 76, of Huntington, widower of Dorothy Rickman Brumfield, died Friday at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He was a retired stone mason. Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.
JAMES H. FERGUSON, 78, of South Point, husband of Gilberta Beard Ferguson, died Sunday at Heartland of Riverview, South Point. Tracy Brammer Funeral Home, Ironton, is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.
FAYE JUNE MURPHY GERMAN, 63, formerly of Henderson, died Saturday at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Henderson Cemetery, Henderson. Deal Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, is in charge of arrangements.
LORENE GRUBB, 87, of Wurtland, widow of Richard Edward Grubb, died Saturday at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, Russell. She and her husband owned Grubb Grocery Store, Wurtland, for many years. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grubb Family Cemetery, Chinns Branch Road, Wurtland. Reed Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
WILBURN HALL, 58, of Wayland, husband of Teresa Moore Hall, died Friday. He was a disabled truck driver and drywall finisher. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin. Burial will follow at Collins Family Cemetery, Steelscreek, Wayland. Visitation will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
PEARL HORN, 83, of Lincoln Park, Mich., formerly of West Virginia, widow of Langley Horn, died Friday. Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.
CHARLES R. JOHNSON, 53, of Catlettsburg, husband of Lois Griffith Johnson, died Saturday at home. THOMAS DELANO LAWSON, 66, of Drift, husband of Brenda Hurst Lawson, died Sunday at McDowell Appalachian Regional Hospital, McDowell. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Drift Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell. Hall Funeral Home, Martin, is in charge of arrangements.
JOHNNY ROY LOWRY, 40, of Milton, died Friday at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
KATHRYN GAYLE SMITH, 53, of Huntington, daughter of Lyvonne Smith Canal of Cleveland, Ohio, died Aug. 25 at home. Graveside service 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, White Chapel Mausoleum; burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation 30 minutes before service Tuesday at the Chapel. Chapman’s Mortuary, Huntington, is assisting the family.
