Barboursville Bob Evans part of Wildfire Bottle Tour

The Bob Evans restaurant, located at 301 Mall Road in Barboursville, is part of the Wildfire Bottle Tour. Events are scheduled for Thursday, July 24 through Tuesday, July 29.

The tour is part of a summer kickoff to celebrate the return of barbecue favorites such as baby back ribs and pulled pork. The concert-themed tour is named after Bob Evans’ signature Wildfire Barbecue Sauce and will include a 15-food inflatable sauce bottle.

The seven-day celebration includes outdoor games, raffles prizes and events.
On Thurday, enter to win a Bob-B-Q for the summer, valued at $150, and get your fingers printed by the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office from 5-8 p.m.

On Friday, July 25, face painting is available from noon until 2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. You can also meet members of the World Wide Wrestling Team and check out their moves from noon until 3 p.m.

On Saturday, July 26, the Barboursville Fire Department will be on site from 5-8 p.m. to meet kids and talk about fire safety. Kids will receive free meal coupons and free fire prevention coloring books. The restaurant also will host an outdoor barbecue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5-7 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the fire department. WDGG-FM also will be broadcasting live from the restaurant from 10 a.m. to noon.

On Sunday, July 27, enjoy a classic car show from 6-8 p.m.

On Monday, July 28, check out items at the employee yard sale and get your car washed by the One 4-H C;ub from 5-8 p.m. Proceeds benefit the 4-H Club.

The event comes to a close on Tuesday, July 29 when the winner of the Bob-B-Q for the summer will be announced.
