Campaign to target underage drinking

HUNTINGTON — The Cabell County Substance Abuse Prevention Partnership is teaming up with others in the community to kick off an underage drinking prevention campaign.

An “intense wave” of compliance checks will take place in August and September throughout the city and county, according to officials.

The campaign also involves the Governor’s Highway Safety office,  Marshall University, Alcohol Beverage Control Administration, and local law enforcement agencies.
