Gunman unloads on Adams Ave. home

Police reports from the Huntington Police Department provided the following information:

A 61-year-old Huntington man said someone fired several rounds through his front and back door about 2:29 a.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of Adams Avenue.

Six empty shell casings were collected from the porch and backyard. Five bullets were recovered from inside the residence.

BURGLARY: A 32-year-old Huntington man reported that someone broke into his residence and stole numerous items about 7 p.m. Friday in the 2100 block of 8th Avenue.

Entry was made through a bedroom window.

LARCENY: A 67-year-old Huntington woman reported that someone took a heat pump/AC unit from her mother's residence about 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Washington Avenue.

LARCENY: A 29-year-old woman from Genoa, W.Va., reported her wallet and $8,000 worth of rings were missing while shopping at a store Tuesday.

The incident occurred about 1:50 p.m. in the 1000 block of Virginia Avenue.
