NASCAR watching party planned in Charleston

CHARLESTON -- A NASCAR race watching party is scheduled Saturday in the Charleston Civic Center.

The Official NASCAR Members Club is sponsoring the event for the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The race will be broadcast on a pair of 20-foot by 20-foot screens.

Admission is free. Concessions will be available.

Prizes given away will include autographed hats, Hero Cards and photographs, a 1:24 diecast and three leather driver jackets. Other prizes for guessing lap leaders and the winner.
