Ashland celebrates season with Summer Motion

Ashland's annual Summer Motion celebration is going strong.

Most of the shows will be at the Ashland Riverfront and Central Park in the city. For concerts at Central Park, parking is not allowed within Central Park, although plenty of free parking is available on neighboring streets and parking lots. Summer Motion is not responsible for parking violations.

Here's the schedule for the rest of the festivities:

Today (at Central Park)

All day: Live entertainment, petting zoo, worm races, Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital medical screenings, games for children and dental screenings

8 a.m. 10k race

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Car show

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorcycle show

10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Craft show

Evening: The Diamonds

July 6 (at Central Park)

All day: Live entertainment, petting zoo, worm races, Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital medical screenings, games for children and dental screenings

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Craft show
