Symphony Orchestra fundraiser
Because of table games legislation, the Huntington Symphony Orchestra can no longer have a casino-themed fundraiser. However, it is now offering its supporters a night of entertainment surrounding a murder mystery, Executive Director Laura Evans says. Here's the scoop:
HOW IT WORKS: Everyone who pays to attend the fundraiser is a character in the murder mystery plot. Prizes are awarded for best actor, best actress, best costume and for the person who solves the mystery.
WHEN: 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, April 25
WHERE: State Electric Supply, 2012 3rd Ave.
COST: $100 per person. Tickets can be purchased by calling the orchestra at (304) 525-0670 or going to www.huntingtonsymphony.org.
