Sponsors, volunteers needed for March for Babies

HUNTINGTON — Teams, sponsors and volunteers continue to be needed for the upcoming 2008 Huntington March for Babies.


The walk begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Ritter Park. Registration starts at 10 a.m.


March of Dimes Community Director Terry Eller said it’s not too late for people to start fundraising.


Several corporate sponsorship levels are available, Eller said.


Corporate walk teams may also be formed, and members can raise funds to support the March of Dimes mission by getting walk sponsors or participating in other fundraising activities. Walkers and teams may also earn prizes.


The event seeks family teams and other walk teams, too.


Fundraising may also be done online at www.marchforbabies.org.
