JOHN LEROY BLAIR III, 31, of Pedro, died Thursday. He was a caregiver at Frazier Nursing Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Lazear Funeral Home Chapel, Ashland. Burial will follow at Catlettsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

DARLEEN FREDEKING BROWN, 62, of Daniels, wife of James “Jim” Brown, died Wednesday at her residence. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Beckley, W.Va. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Stephens Episcopal Day School and the Beckley Area Foundation. www.calfeefh.com. Arrangements by Calfee Funeral Home, Beckley.

VICKI LYNN EDMISTON CLATWORTHY, 54, of Midlothian, Va., formerly of Huntington, died July 5. A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Cross Roads United Methodist Church, 3146 Saltwell Rd., Huntington.

DIXIE M. CORDLE, 88, of Blaine, wife of M.J. Cordle, Jr., died Thursday at J.J. Jordan Geriatric Center. She was a retired teacher aid. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday at Cordell Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bryant Cemetery, Blaine. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home, Louisa.

RAYMOND CRANCE, 39, of Ironton, husband of Stephanie Lewis Crance, died Wednesday at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. PAUL DREW AIELLO FULLER of Culloden, W.Va., formerly of Pittsburgh, Pa., died Wednesday. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

JEWELL G. HAMPTON, 82, formerly of Huntington, wife of Paul E. Hampton, died Friday in Jackson, Tenn. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Huntington. George A. Smith and Sons Funeral Home is assisting the family. 

DAVID LEE HARMON, 76, of Ironton, husband of Rosemary Murnahan Harmon, died Friday at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery. WANDA J. KESNER, 75, of Barboursville, died Thursday at home. A memorial service will be held in Petersburg. Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

RICHARD J.R. MEADOWS, 64, of Milton, husband of Barbara, died Thursday in Cabell Huntington Hospital. He retired from Claggs Lumber. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Fairfield Methodist Church on Glenwood Road. Burial will be in Fairfield Church Cemetery.Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, and one hour prior to service at the church on Sunday.

JACKIE R. NAPIER SR., 60, of Geneva, Ohio, formerly of Huntington, husband of Debra Reynolds Napier, died Thursday at his residence. Reger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements which are incomplete. 

LEONA FAYE REAPER, 79, of South Point, widow of Lester Reaper, died Friday at Heartland Care Center, South Point. O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which are incomplete.

A. JUNE ROBINSON, 80, of Harold, died Friday at Pikeville Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin. PATRICIA LOUISE TATE SCOTT, 76, of Huntington, died Wednesday at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. At the request of the family, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia’s name to Hospice of Huntington. Chapman’s Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

ELIZABETH TACKETT SMITH, 92, of Catlettsburg, widow of Sgt. Earl Smith, died Thursday at Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday at Rose Hill Mausoleum. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, 1 Intrepid Square West 46th St. & 12th Ave., New York, NY 10036. Kilgore & Collier Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

JANICE FAYE SMITH, 68, of Huntington, W.Va., wife of James W. Smith, died Thursday at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Chapman’s Mortuary. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.     

MARY JANE STOWERS, 75, of West Hamlin, widow of Wylie Stowers, died Friday at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at The Center Point Baptist Church, West Hamlin. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church. Koontz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MARTHA OPAL VITITOE, 85, of Huntington, formerly of Hurricane, died Thursday in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Milton. Visitation will be from 6 to 8p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service on Sunday.
