Knights stay perfect with win

CHARLESTON -- Meredith Baisden led Cabell Midland at the plate and in the circle as the Knights moved to 8-0 with a sweep over Capital.

Baisden went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs while striking out 14 in the 11-2 victory in Game 1. She then came back with a 3-for-3 performance and her fifth home run of the season in a 17-0 Game 2 win.

Jennifer Bodden also had a home run and four RBIs in the second game for Cabell Midland, who will travel to Riverside today.
