MU group speaks out against war in Iraq during Peace Week
HUNTINGTON -- Marshall University join people from around the country in a protest to mark the 5th Anniversary of the war in Iraq on Wednesday.
The protest was part of the Peace Week at the university.
There are two more activities planned this week.
The National Wall of Remembrance will go on display from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday.
The week will end with a peace vigil on the lawn of Old Main at 7 p.m. Friday.
The Peace Week events are sponsored by PROGS, Marshall University Young Democrats, SIERRA Students Coalition and the West Virginia Patriots for Peace.
