W.Va.'s brightest gather for Gov.'s honors academy
BETHANY, W.Va. (AP) _ West Virginia's best and brightest high school students are gathering in Bethany for three weeks of academic challenges.
For the past 24 years, the state's top high school students have been able to take part in the Governor's Honors Academy where they can specialize in select courses.
Academy dean Saralynn Dague says this year's theme is Explore the Possibilities. She says course options range from Chinese to Shakespeare.
Bethany College is hosting the academy this year and for the next two years.
This year's academy ends on July 20.
