Police: Ohio fireworks accidents injures 3

RIVERSIDE, Ohio (AP) — Police say a man lost part of his leg when fireworks went off inside his SUV in western Ohio.

A police reports shows the vehicle was parked outside a bar in Riverside at about 3 a.m. Friday when the blast blew the windows out of the truck.

Medics transported the man to Miami Valley Hospital.

Police were unavailable to provide further details.

In Union Township outside Cincinnati, police say a woman and child were taken to Cincinnati hospitals after a fireworks accident.

Authorities say the 10 p.m. Friday accident gave the woman second-degree burns. Police and fire officials are investigating.
