Play therapy to be discussed in Ashland

ASHLAND — Professional counselors and people who work with children are invited to an informational session on play therapy from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at Hope’s Place Children’s Advocacy Center.

The center is located at 1100 Greenup Ave., in Ashland.

Guest Speaker Amy Holsinger will discuss the importance of play therapy during the session. Holsinger is the co-director of the Early Childhood Mental Health Program for the Counselor’s Clinical Cottage.
