Hillary Clinton to visit Putnam County today

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) _ Hillary Rodham Clinton plans another round of campaigning in West Virginia leading up to Tuesday's state Democratic presidential primary.

 

A statement by her campaign says Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea, will attend a Mother's Day celebration in Grafton at 3:15 p.m. Sunday. The pair then will head to a "Solutions for America" town hall meeting at 8 p.m. in the Putnam County community of Eleanor.

Hillary Clinton is scheduled to attend events Monday in Montgomery, Clear Fork, Logan and Fairmont.

Clinton spoke at the state Capitol in Charleston on Thursday, while her husband, former President Bill Clinton, toured the state on Thursday and Friday.

According to an advisory from the Clinton campaign, Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton will be the George Washington Middle School, at Route 62 North and Eleanor Circle, in Eleanor. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the event begins at 8 p.m.

On Monday, the Logan event will be at the Logan Memorial Field House, with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. and the event beginning at 3 p.m.
