Rain likely later today

HUNTINGTON — Rain will reach the Tri-State today and throughout the remainder of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Today brings a 50 percent chance of showers that will begin to reach the area by late morning. Thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and tonight. Today’s high will near 69 degrees while the low will dip to 57.

Rain is likely Thursday, again with thunderstorms possible for much of the day. The high will approach 69 degrees. Thunderstorm will see more rain and a low around 54.

There is a 40 percent chance of rain Friday. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy with a high near 66. Friday night will see a slight chance of showers and a low around 50.

The chance of rain lingers into Saturday. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 67.
