The recent Cabell County Grand Jury has returned the following indictments. The charges were unsealed Monday afternoon. An indictment is merely a formal accusation of guilt, and accused defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

Michael Gordon Sexton (1109 Norway Ave., Huntington): third offense shoplifting, second offense driving on a suspended or revoked license for miscellaneous and leaving the scene of an accident
Wilbert M. Shaver (1501 Poplar St., Kenova, W.Va.): first degree robbery, burglary, assault during the commission of a felony, malicious wounding and conspiracy
Dana Lee Shipley (2459 Collis Ave., Huntington): first degree robbery
Matthew Adam Short (2074 Dudding Lane, Culloden, W.Va. ): two counts of forgery of a credit card and petit larceny
Tracy Michelle Sims (4418 Altizer Ave., Huntington): breaking and entering and three counts of forgery of a credit card
William Franklin Sloan (305 Buffington St., Huntington): felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance, first degree robbery and wanton endangerment
