Employment assistance workshop planned

A special two-day employment assistance workshop will be hosted and conducted by the Lawrence County One Stop/Workforce Development Resource Center.

The seminar is scheduled for Wednesday-Thursday, May 28-29, at 120 N. 3rd St., Suite D. The first day’s event will feature job search strategies from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The second day will concentrate on improving interview skills with employers from 1-3 p.m.

The workshop is designed to help Tri-State military veterans analyze their work skills, attitudes and military occupational specialties and relate them to the civilian work force.
