Bridge to be closed tonight
The East Huntington Bridge will be one lane for this week and next during its annual bridge inspection shown on Tuesday September 2, 2008.

HUNTINGTON -- Inspection of the East Huntington bridge will completely close the bridge from 7 tonight through 6 a.m. Thursday, according to a release from the West Virginia Division of Highways.
The inspection is scheduled from Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 2 through 5, and from Monday through Friday, Sept. 8 through 12. Inspection will bring the bridge down to one lane of traffic for both weeks and close the bridge overnight tonight through Thursday morning.

The bridge traffic will be maintained by flaggers from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on those days.
Detours will be to the 6th Street and 17th Street West bridges.
Contractor Modjieski and Master will perform the inspection.
